Musiques en fête has been held every summer since 2011 to kick off the Chorégies d'Orange season. This year, Musiques en fête pays tribute to cinema! Judith Chaine and Cyril Féraud will join 8,000 spectators at the Théâtre antique d'Orange for an unforgettable evening filled with the emotions and magic of the silver screen. Through the most beautiful film scores, as well as excerpts from operas, operettas, musicals, and French songs, this unique event will celebrate music with an eclectic program.

In Orange, in front of more than 8,000 fans, French pop singers and long-established artists of the classical scene, instrumentalists or lyricists, take the stage to revisit the works of Bizet, Verdi, Aznavour, Rossini, Piaf and Trenet.

After a first recital at the majestic Royal Opera of Versailles in December 2020, followed by performances at the Philharmonie de Paris, Mika discovers the Chorégies d'Orange for the first time. Thanks to Simon Leclerc's mischievous arrangements, the pop star reinvents his hits accompanied by the Orchestre national Avignon-Provence and the Chœur Région Sud conducted by Michel Piquemal. More than a return to his roots, this symphonic concert is a journey into the intimate history of its performer. A journey during which several genres and cultures come together. Benjamin, a 10 year-old boy, lives with his mother Charlotte since his dad, Christophe, left. Charlotte is expecting a child from Henri, but is hesitant to tell her son, whom doesn't know about his soon-to-be stepfather. The day of the Epiphany, Benjamin accepts to go help his grandmother Flore prepare the house for the holiday, since the family celebrates Christmas on January 6th also. The boy has prepared a nice gift for his young cousin Simon, suffering from an odd congenital disease. The night of the party, many surprises await the attendees.
